I set my ps5 settings to all audio and i can finally hear my sound again. After the headset is fully on, press and hold the power button on the a50 headset until it begins flashing white. I have the new astro a50’s and i can hear the game play but whenever i go into a party chat with friends it says my mic isn’t plugged in.

Are only backwards compatible games affected? In order to use the game/voice balance on the mixamp pro, you must have two separate audio outputs.

I finally found what works for me. If so, it might be that the astro a50 base station acts as a usb microphone, which doesn't work as chat microphone on the xbox 360.

After the headset is fully on, press and hold the power button on the a50 headset until it begins flashing white.

My firmware is 36178.43 on the headset and 36170.43 on the base station. Having the optical cable plugged in whilst on pc mode can cause sound issues. Does anyone know why i can't hear game audio over a50 on the xbox series x. Set everything up like the directions say. Its best to think of it this way, the game side is the optical connection and the voice side is the usb connection.
